EyeGlass

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 27, 2026 · Last updated: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the EyeGlass mobile application (the “App”) handles information. The App is developed and operated by an independent developer based in Israel (“we”, “us”). For privacy inquiries, contact yair2005m@gmail.com.

Summary: EyeGlass works entirely on your device. We operate no servers, require no account, and run no analytics or advertising trackers. Photos you take never leave your device. The only data that leaves your device relates to in-app purchases, which are processed by Apple, Google, and our purchase infrastructure provider, RevenueCat.

1. What the App Is

EyeGlass is a parody entertainment camera application for iOS and Android. It displays your device camera feed with cosmetic overlays and simulated “inconveniences” (such as fogged lenses and eye redness), and offers in-app purchases and subscriptions. It is an entertainment product only.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The App is designed to operate offline and without personal data collection. Specifically, we do not collect:

We operate no backend servers. There is no mechanism by which the App could send us your personal data.

3. Device Permissions and On-Device Processing

Camera

The App requests camera access to display the live camera feed, which is the App’s core function. The feed is processed and rendered entirely on your device. Photos you capture are saved only to the App’s private storage on your device. They are never uploaded, never shared with us or any third party, and never added to your device’s system photo library.

Microphone

The App requests microphone access solely for an interactive minigame in which you blow into the microphone to “clear fog” from the simulated lenses. During this minigame, the App measures the momentary loudness (amplitude) of the microphone input on the device. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted, and the microphone is not accessed outside the minigame.

Both permissions are optional at the operating-system level; denying them limits the related features but the App will not crash.

4. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

A deliberate feature of the App renders photos progressively “degraded” over time. This is a visual effect computed when a photo is displayed; the original file remains on your device unmodified until you delete it or uninstall the App.

All of this data remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App. On Android, App data is excluded from system backups. We have no access to it and cannot recover it for you.

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers paid in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment card details, billing address, or store account credentials.

To validate purchases and restore them across reinstalls, the App uses RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-infrastructure service. When you use the App, RevenueCat receives and processes on our behalf:

RevenueCat processes this data to provide purchase validation and subscription management. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. Apple and Google process payment data under their own terms: the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, the limited processing described in Section 5 is performed on the basis of performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b), delivering the purchases you request) and legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f), preventing purchase fraud and maintaining accurate entitlements). All other App functionality processes data only on your device and does not involve us processing your personal data.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. The only third parties involved are the payment platforms (Apple, Google) and RevenueCat, as described above, and only to the extent required to deliver purchases. We would disclose information if required by law, but note that we hold essentially none.

8. Data Retention

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, the EU/UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because we do not hold personal data about you, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device: deleting the App deletes all App data. For purchase-related data, you may contact us at yair2005m@gmail.com and we will coordinate with RevenueCat to delete the anonymous purchase profile associated with your device, or you may contact Apple or Google regarding data they hold. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights, and we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.

10. International Transfers

RevenueCat is based in the United States, so the limited purchase data described in Section 5 may be processed in the United States and other countries. RevenueCat participates in standard contractual safeguards for such transfers; see its privacy policy for details.

11. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, nor, by design, from anyone. In-app purchases require a payment method controlled through Apple or Google parental controls; we encourage parents to use those controls.

12. Security

App data is stored in the App’s private, sandboxed storage area provided by iOS and Android, inaccessible to other apps on supported configurations. Purchase communications with Apple, Google, and RevenueCat are encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but our no-collection design means the most sensitive content, your photos, never leaves your device at all.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address, with the “Last updated” date shown above. Material changes will additionally be indicated within the App or its store listing.
